Iranian feature ‘No Choice’ has made its way to the Belgrade International Film Festival (FEST) in Serbia.

Iranian feature ‘No Choice’ has made its way to the Belgrade International Film Festival (FEST) in Serbia.

Directed by Reza Dormishian, the film will represent Iran at the 2021 edition of the event.

‘No Choice’ is a movie on women and their issues in society.

The cast list of the film includes Parsa Pirouzfar, Negar Javaherian, Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Parivash Nazariyeh, Mayam Boubani, Jaleh Olov, Babak Karimi, Homayoun Ershadi, Reza Behboudi, and Pardis Ahmadieh.

It has already taken part in various global events such as the Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan, the Chennai International Film Fest, the Thrissur International Film Festival, the Bangalore International Film Festival, and the Pune International Film Festival, all in India, as well as the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy, where it grabbed three awards for Best Film, Best Audience choice, and Best NETPAC film.

Launched in 1971, the FEST’s important feature all these years was its openness to films from all parts of the world, as well as to all relevant authors and works that would never have the opportunity to be shown in cinemas.

The 49th edition of the event is slated for May 7 to 16, 2021.
